Content Formats and Sources
Please understand that certain file formats are converted into the format the digital signage product requires to program and schedule the information displayed.
Computer Presentation: Presentation software on your computer, such as PowerPoint and other similar programs, can be used to create presentations and "loops" which are converted to an MPEG2 or MPEG3 format to play continuously, or in programmable rotation for narrowcasting.
Scrolling Text Graphic: These horizontally or vertically presented portions of scrolling text are actually bitmapped graphics created in the user-friendly software of the digital server, which scroll continuously on a selected portion of your display screen area. MMS will train you thoroughly on how to create the graphics which you would like to scroll.
Live Closed Circuit Camera/TV Broadcast Feed: Display live feeds on selected portions of your display screen.
Web-based input: Connect to the Internet and display on screen. This can be web-site connections or streaming video downloads.
Digital (Mpeg) Video input: Play VCR, DVD's or MPEG video in any combination for programmable scheduling.
